Apple: Why should I update my MAC OSX 10.5.8 to Mac OS X Snow Leopard? If so, why and what are the benefits?

I am strongly considering updating my MAC OS X 10.5.8 to the new Snow Leopard. I asked a question on Mahalo about it, please go out there and help me make my decision!
